Here's a photo and LO of my grandfather. I believe this photo was taken in about 1945 or a bit earlier, and it's been housed in a terrible frame with icky gummy tape and cardboard box behind it. What a relief to have it out! The matting was already showing age spots and what looked like mold. It hadn't gotten into the photo yet, so this was a joy to make a LO that might stand the test of time a bit better.
Supplies: all paper K&Co Blue Awning; tag K&Co Wild Saffrom; ink for edges; distressing tool for all matting; #12 embroidery thread for sewn edge.
